Jürgen Fitschen

Mr. Fitschen brings 40 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking with multiple leadership roles at Deutsche Bank across Europe, the United Kingdom and Asia.

He formerly served as Chairman of the Management Board and Co-CEO of Deutsche Bank from 2012-2016. He was also a Member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank since 2001.

He has previously served as Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors of Germany’s key businesses including Ceconomy AG, Kuehne+Nagel International AG, Metro AG and Schott AG.

Mr. Fitschen was also President of the Association of German Banks and a Member of the Trilateral Commission, an international organization aimed at fostering closer cooperation between Japan, Western Europe and North America.

Lt. Gen. Joachim von Sandrart
-
Formerly the Commander of NATO Multinational Corps Northeast (2021-24), Lt. General Jürgen-Joachim von Sandrart (Retd.) began his military service in 1982 with the German Army until retirement in 2025.
-
His service included multiple deployments abroad, particularly in the Balkans, where he participated in SFOR, KFOR, and EUFOR missions. In 2011, von Sandrart deployed to Afghanistan as part of NATO's International Security Assistance Force Afghanistan.
-
Amongst many leadership positions held during his 43 years military career, he commanded the 1st Panzer Division (Oldenburg) and served as Department Head at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Belgium.
-
He has also held ministerial roles at the German Ministry of Defence, including serving as branch head for the German Afghanistan deployments.
-
He is a Senior Fellow at the German Institute for Defence and Strategic Studies.

Lt. Gen. von Sandrart has been decorated with German and NATO honours.

Daniel Hager

Mr. Hager is a distinguished leader of the German Mittelstand and currently serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hager Group, a family-owned global leader in electrical installation solutions.

Representing the third generation of family leadership, he guided the company as CEO from 2008 to 2023, driving growth and innovation during a period of transformation.

With more than 25 years of executive experience in the electrical and industrial sectors, Mr. Hager has established himself as a recognized voice in the industry.

He was recently nominated as President-elect of the German Electro and Digital Industry Association (ZVEI) and serves on numerous other associations and advisory councils, including as a member of the Executive Board of the French-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris.

Mr. Hager holds a Master’s degree in International Management from ESCP Business School and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and German from Université Paris Nanterre.
